The Nevada-Sierra Regional IHSS Public Authority Board announces a Request for Proposals (RFP) from all interested providers to provide core services of the Nevada-Sierra Regional IHSS Public Authority.
The Nevada-Sierra Regional IHSS Public Authority Board invites proposals to support the In-Home Supportive Services program (IHSS), the recipients and the providers who assist them in Nevada, Sierra and Plumas counties. The Public Authority assists IHSS Consumers and Providers in accessing and navigating the IHSS program in Nevada, Sierra, and Plumas counties.

Between February 1, 2011 and June 30, 2012, consumers will experience a reduction in hours of 3.6%. This temporary cut was approved by the legislature because of California’s budget crisis. Notices will be sent to consumers. It is important that you let your provider know as their working hours are also affected.
